The Economic Policy Institute invites you to a screening of Heather Booth: Changing the World, which traces the ongoing legacy of activist and community organizer Heather Booth. After the screening, Heather will make brief remarks and answer questions.

In Heather Booth: Changing the World, filmmaker Lily Rivlin profiles the renowned organizer and activist, whose remarkable career helped impact the most pivotal moments in progressive movements over the last fifty years—from voter registration in the 1960s to immigration reform and the need for fiscal responsibility. This documentary is a compelling look at how social change happened, and Heather’s inspiration legacy in progressive politics will empower audiences to organize and create.
